Here is a picture of the house on April 1st, it is amazing on how fast the house goes up. Not much to report since out back fill inspection. I can't go inside the house to see how things are progressing. We have our pre-drywall in just over a week.
I am so happy I found your blog.. In am in within the first 14 days.. waiting on my call from the wiring and flooring people.... I found a horrible site telling bad stories on Ryan and happy to find a story of a positive experience... thanks for the tip on the 3 inspections, I will definitely do that! Mary in VA
I am glad you find the site helpful. I think most people that buy Ryan Homes googles there name and finds that site. It got me worried at first but then I started to realize how much they are over exaggerating there story. They go on about toxic materials being used in the home, but come on Ryan Home doesn't make the materials they buy them and standard materials on the market aren't toxic or they wouldn't be allowed to be used. It's not like Ryan Homes is going out of their way to take materials that are safe and make them toxic. Plus I am sure a home inspector would have found any problems they had with their house if they would have hired one.
I am meeting Guardian and the flooring company on dec 10th and 11th. I'm glad I found this blog. I would like to hear more about what you wish you would've done/bought or what you wish you could've done later etc.... I'm up in the air about tiling my master bath/shower/floor and where to put hard wire-in's for the ceiling fans etc... It seems as if RH is nickel and diming me on all the upgrades!!
